control board coming along, not quite as I had planned...

Today have to get the MP40s moving debris that is settling in sand on overflow side. They’re “missing” in Fusion. Time to get the manual out.

been hand dosing Alk and Cal, will have dosing DOS running today.
alk 7.5
Cal 410
Phos .06
Nit 2
Temp 79 (currently no chiller plumbed in), with 3 + pumps added, that’ll bring temp up to 80-81.

I can make you one as long as you give me all the exact dimensions you need! I will PM you
That would be awesome, thank you.;Shamefullyembarrased

Just allow me to compensate with a frag, PayPal or a unique frozen fish food.

@SuncrestReef , it's me again. :oops:;)

Please advise on what to do:

WXM has 2 MP40Qts attached.
MP40s have outlets on EB832 switched to AUTO.
Both MP40s "missing".
Both MP40s will be "ON" and "OFF" randomly, idk why? The EB8 turns off the power.

I have checked plug connections, hard reset both MP40s, tried control type powerhead and advanced.

This is configuration "powerhead" option I am trying on one mp40:
Fallback ON
Initial Off Time 005:00
On Time 005:00
Off Time 005:00
Feed Timer ABCD
Feed Timer Delay 5

This is configuration "advanced" I am trying on second mp40:
Fallback ON
Set ON
OSC 005:00/005:00/005:00 Then ON
If FeedA 005 Then OFF

This is WXM configuration:
Action
ConfigureUpdate SoftwareDelete
Name
Frequency 1 (I have tried changing this to 2)
Operation Attach Update Reset (I have tried all of these.)
Status
Rev 0.0, RF Rev 0.0 (1,0,0,0),(0,0,0),(250,0,0)
Update Status: 0
Update State: 7
Update Error: 0

This is configuration from my old apex:

Fallback Mps_40
If Output MP40old1_3_1 = OFF Then OFF
Set ON

Fallback Mps_40
Set ON
If FeedB 015 Then OFF
If FeedC 030 Then OFF

Where do I begin connecting the MP40s so their not missing?
What advanced configuration do you recommend?
What setting do I need to change for EB not to turn them off and on?

Thank YOU...;Shamefullyembarrased

I don't own any MP40's, but I can give you some general guidance.

First of all, make sure the EB832 outputs where you plugged in the MP40 power cords are set to "Always ON". The easiest way to do this is set the Control Type to "Always", then select "ON":

For the MP40 wireless setup on the WXM, please follow Neptune's instructions here: https://www.neptunesystems.com/getstarted/wxm/vortech/

Good luck!

Trying to get big royal gramma out of narrow and 28” overflow nightmare on old tank.

I don’t want to pull out drain, but may have to. Lots of vermid? snail sharp spikes in there, knuckles already feeling the burn...grrrr

If you pull out the drain, be ready with a bucket to catch it under the tank. Or you can plug the bottom of the bulkhead and pull out the drain and try to fish it out.

EDIT: how did you do it?

Whew! :D
Turned off pump. Siphoned out overflow till 3” water left, placed a net on bottom and chased rg into net with a pointer stick. Then prayed as raising net out!
There was a big red serpent star in there too. Had to pull drain and blindly stick arm down feeling for the star. Yeah, up to my arm pit deep.
Going to your build thread next, any new pics? @Gablami

No new pics for now. Just working on the aquascape. Trying to cement wet dry rock in the tank is certainly harder than dry rock outside the tank. I’m feeling old with the arrival of low back pain and stiffness.

Still working everyday on the tank.

Ran out of aqua bus ports on apex, so holding pattern until I can steal the old energy bar from 150, ordered sweet 3D printed holders for the hot Cor20 bricks, added a fan to eb832 to keep tank cool until chiller moves over (81 down to 78), just received phone cord extensions because the ALD floor sensor cables not long enough.

Ordered more 1/4” tubing holders....cable and tube management is getting crazy in the equipment closet, haha.

Temporarily attached the gyre xf350 to back glass and it barely holds at 100%, glass is 3/4”. Of course it blew the huge birds nest over, that coral is to large to glue down...would like to move it along as a colony not frags. I need flow better spaced throughout the tank, eyeballing those waving making boxes.

All fish are doing great except the bullethole clowns I put in The fuge. They cower under their host all day, unusual behavior for them. They are in fuge because the McCullochi female and Bullethole female were battling the first second added to 280.

Plan is to rehome them to kitchen IM30gal today. Sigh... Their host frogspawn base will barely fit the 30, cause it’s the 30 long. Frogspawn took some abuse and will get lugols dip.

Today photo of tank.
6C85BC28-C317-4160-82E3-7A63FE0F3A13.jpeg

Working on Fusion dashboard, added ALD sensors and setting alarms.

My browned out sps gaining green and yellow, woohoo!

Have some diatoms on sand and still a lot of fine particulates in water column of display. Sump water is crystal clear, but DT always has fine particles blowing around, annoying. Tried felt socks, same. What I haven’t done is sand siphoning yet...?
