The first year or two of reefing can be filled with tons of mistakes and problems and frustrations. It happens to the veterans too on occasion, but they are better at handling everything. I'm glad you joined us. Welcome to R2R.

In this hobby accept failure. We all experience some form or type of failure.
Despite the monetary loss, take the time to listen to others and their recommendations but mainly , once in a while take time to laugh at the silly mistakes and make it a true learning experience.
It is safe for me to say, Despite having nice tanks, I have LEARNED from my mistakes, and mistakes of others and took them to heart as a learning curve, rather than a failure.
