Well darn you know what your talking about! I did as you said and I hardly have anything left but two small pieces and lost no more since I cut it back. It stopped losing its flesh and will only take 30 years to get to the two inches I had before...lol. Thank you so much....really. We saved a life...;)

Power head and light...now no power head and at the bottom of tank away from light.
