What am I going against?

Just did a water change yesterday. Got back home from work and notice this red stringy algae not sure need help identifying

secondly; doesn't seem red to me, but could be cyano or the start of dino's. what are your water parameters? any other changes to the tank than the water change? what's your filtration? does this go away after this lights turn off?

I’m actually on my way to buy a better test kit because I got this tank second hand not too long ago and the guy was using those dip test strips. What I have noticed is that the red algae does disappear over night when the lights go down right now I’m adding microbacter7 and it seems to be helping.

if it goes away during the night/lights out it likely points to dino's. dosing mb7 will aid in its defeat. it is likely due to a nitrate/phosphate imbalance.
