ANYWAY! Now I look like a crazy person. I don’t understand how my post that quoted you changed when you edited YOUR post? It never did that before.


Okay. Here’s my opinion (don’t kill me guys). The bristletooth tangs are UGLY! All of them (except the white tail bristletooth). I think the main reason why people have them is because they are really good at eating nuisance algae. Some of the fancy tangs prefer their prissy nori on a sea clip. The bristletooths aren’t afraid to get dirty for some scraps of micro algae.

Nothing ugly about a healthy mature kole and I am not even a tang person. Sure they don’t look great at the LFS but a mature healthy one has intricate patterns and almost purple.

That fish is beautiful. The ones I’ve seen at the LFS looked drab and different.
I changed my opinion: Healthy bristletooth tangs are beautiful.
