Can't remember which acans these are, My tank is 7 months and I am ready to start gluing frags down. My snails keep knocking everything down that isn't in a rack. And I would like to get rid of the rack.

Rock flower anemone Blastos
Red acans Red acans

I can’t see anything distinguishing on the acans to determine if there is a trade name for this type

Thanks, I didn't need weird names just that the two acans are both the same and won't fight each other. Thanks again

No prob! They both look like same species and type, and will get along fine. Most acans will coexist peacefully and can touch

Who was Lord Howensis? I have always wondered
lordhowensis is the species name. As @keagan said, it's named after Lord Howe Island, the type locality of the species. Despite being the type locality, Acans/Micromussa lords are ironically pretty rare in there. Also fun fact, Lord Howe island contains the southernmost coral reefs in the world.
