lookin for a camera to take some macro shots with. Not lookin to break the bank.wanna spend $400-$600. Is there any thing decent out there for that price. If so what should i be lookin at?

Cannon G11 and G12 are good cameras, as is the Panasonic LX3 and LX5. The first of each of those is previous gen model (but still a very good camera) the latter are the latest versions.

I'm currently looking into the Canon T2i which I hear is a good camera. But than you will have to purchase a macro lens for it. Look into the Canon t1i.

i would say what ever camera you can figure out..... i have a fancy one with all the stuff and its a pita to use..... play with a bunch of them at the stores before buying one....
