If you're going to keep your lights that blue, it likely won't matter. Plus, it looks like the back of the tank is black? I'd paint the wall whatever color your better half wants ;)

Sincerest condolences. I vote for no change, because the light is going to cast its color on the wall, and also because paint fumes could be problematic for the tank. I'm sure many people have covered their tanks while the paint dries and it would be fine, but unless you absolutely need to, why risk it?

Thank You... I am thinking a dark color won't cast the color as much. Not sure though. A band stage always has a black background so the colored lights stand out on the musicians and not the background. I could be wrong though. Here's a current photo of my aquarium. Excuse the football game in the tank. lol
