Did you get you LR from the gulf? I’ve got a few I believe are anemone hitchikers. Does it look like this? I try and get better pic without it being so blue...

you can see something funny: take peace of meaty food (small 1-2.5mm), stop the water flows in your DT (the water to be calm enough, just not to move them at all), with tweezers keeping the food touch any of the balls and watch :) (my are moving most of the tentacles to catch the food, and they are very sticky)
I'll have a look :) thank you

Hard from the pic but this one kind of looks like aiptasia, another type of hitchhiking anemone

If its a 'ball anemone' - it is really a type of mushroom coral (not a true anemone) - To me this looks similar to the OP - i.e. a ball anemone. But it would be nice to know the size, etc. Ask 10 reefers a question and you'll get 50 answers in no time:):)

I have what looks like the same thing as you, and have no idea what it is, and these seemingly popped up over night, I just noticed four tonight right around the base of my live rock right above the sand. They're transparent, and a pretty greenish-blue with white spots and little white balls at the ends their tentacles. The smallest is 1/4" (left photo easiest to get a shot of), and the largest is about an 1" in diameter (right photo has two larger ones, harder to get a photo). It looks anemone or mushroom like with a mouth in the center and symmetrical around. Any idea what these are? I wonder if a nudibranch would eat these?
