If its hairy or has sharp pointy claws its probably a no.
Ive gotten black crabs that look like emeralds but get a little bigger.
Look up gorillia crab hitchhikers. You might see your guy.

If u cab find the rock he hides in. Pull the rock and fw bath it to remove the crab.
U can look at night time with a red light or black uv/blue actinic light. U might catch his red eyes. Glad i could help.
