ok.. so i have an apex. i want to add:

auto dosing for calcium alkalinity and magnesium
ATO
and automatic water changes

help me compile a parts list. i know ill need another energy 8 and a breakout box.

Mostly you'll need float switches, some type of dosing pump for each product you want to dose, and some Apex programming :)

For dosing, you can use the OSC command to judge on how much you want to dose each day. I'd set it up a and dose into a measuring cup to ensure you get the proper dose throughout the day before dosing into the tank.

Same kind of thing for auto-water change. Set one pump to turn on for so long to pull water out, then turn on the other pump for the same amount of time to replenish. Use float switches to prevent putting too much water back in.

But...don't forget that with auto water changes, you'll still need to replenish evaporated water with RO so your salinity doesn't slowly creep up on you.
