What do the pink lights do? How much light?

Hi I wanted to know what the pink t5 bulbs are good for. I have decent luck with blues and whites for growing coralline. I purchased some pinks but don't want to have any less success by switching a little.
Also is more light better? I have a 6 bulb T5 on a 120 four foot tank. Running all 6 seems like overkill. I only have anemones and no corals.

I’m not sure but I’m thinking the “pink” lights are daylight spectrum 5-6k bulbs? The use of 6 T5 bulbs will generally supply enough light energy to support anemones and corals if the spectral output of the bulb is similar to daylight intensity and spectrum.

People use blue bulbs that provide spectrums similar to light penetration in deeper water.

Why lol you do this all the time !!! Just drop off a spectral graph then don't say why. I know the spectral graph for the bulb,but was trying to help the Op on why its not a great choice for a saltwater tank and coralline algae.

Freshhwater its gone by the name Fiji purple, roseate and pink ect

Can't see one pink out of 6 tubes being detrimental but ?????

I have actually used that bulb way back in the day when WavePoint was pretty popular and it was disgusting looking.
