What do you do for a living?

I would've thought that wealth management and owning a reef tank were mutually exclusive endeavours... ;)

My advice to all of you is quit the hobby and start contributing that money to an IRA.

If you invest 200 a month at 5% after 10 years you will have over 30,000.

After 20 years roughly 82,000.

If you average 7% you'll be over 100k in 20 years.

I am retired.
When I worked I was a union Heat and Frost Insulator. When I retired I had 40 years in.
When I first started my trade in 1974 our title was Asbestos Worker.

I work on the finance side of building, investing in, and owning stuff like this.
