I wasn’t being snarky; I promise! He’s the resident Fish behavior guy of the forum! He just chose a terrible username lol!

Cut the frequency of water changes in half, feed more pellets... Chromis eat a lot and they're relatively cheap.
And I was going to say in my op that I don't want chromis lol.. but you know that could be a good idea. Top dwellers would be nice.

I've got 12 right now. The green swim near the top, the bicolor and black bar scope out the middle and the lyretail hang out in the rocks (yes, seeing them in caves and barnacles is quite funny).

i cant think

In that size tank you are definitely going to be somewhat under stocked. The Dottybacks I find have a low bio load and clowns only get a large bioload as adults.
I’d say go for a couple goby species - You can have more so your tank looks more filled in. I had 9 fish at one point in my RS Max Nano and even that had just barely enough nutrients.

Something like a group of maybe 6 Trimma species. The biggest issue is most ‘Nano’ fish are low bioload species. Is there anything in particular you’re looking for? Such as colour or personality.

Yes absolutely colorful and lots of personality as well as can put up with the 3 attitudes these guys have. I put an emerald crab in and the dottyback was scoping it out big time. But the emerald is going back to the LFS today. Caught it twice munching on my forest fire montipora.
