My fuzzy dwarf. Only had him a few days but quickly becoming my favorite.

Oh! I was just looking at the red ones last night. I want one!

I have the strangest favorite thing! I just love the star polyps, my husband hates them because they are weeds and take over the whole tank! I like the green and flowing corals! Also the huge leather mushrooms!

Probably weird, but at night I like watching the tens of thousands of little critters (pods I hope!) running around and cleaning up under UV.

Bioluminescent organisms living in my tanks. Reason I think this is the coolest thing in tanks is this its not often documented in reef aquariums and often goes unseen or unnoticed. I bet a lot of other reef aquariums out there have Bioluminescent shows going on at night that have never been observed. its not easy to get pictures of these displays as most of it will not be picked up by the camera. Nothing better than sitting down in front of the tanks in the dark watching for flashing lights.

I have weird schemes to culture enough bioluminescent algae to do a 50% water change in one of my tanks and see if it grows.


My favorite thing from a practicality standpoint are these egg crate compatible single frag racks I’ve made (first pic). Super convenient for saving space. I’ve also printed lots of algae holders for myself but those are less cool XD
