Also the OG Oregon Tort doesn't get as much respect as it should...

GSP. Purple to magenta base with vibrant green polyps sometimes with white mixed in waving in the current is hard to beat.

I’m a big fan of WALL HAMMER. Everyone raves about branching but the WALL HAMMER gets super full!

I've seen some awesome walls my only fear with them is unlike a branch if something goes south you cant just frag off a head and keep going

Not coral, but I find macro algae very underrated. I loved my display refugium when I had it as a seahorse habitat for a few years. I've since overtaken the space as an anemone sanctuary, but the macro algae was very fun, beautiful and diverse.

I wouldn't go so far as to say people think they are trash ,, its just there are so many other, non soft corals out there that are prettier and they get the space in our tanks soft corals used to get.
double post.

Soft corals, definitely. If only people knew what was out there and more coral sellers would order it. Yeah, there are a lot of beautiful sps and lps but I’ve rarely seen a coral as pretty or prettier than a softy like this. There are lots more varieties if only people wouldn’t dismiss them so quickly. I’m lucky to have a whole tank full of beautiful tree corals many of which were sold to me as Kenya tree. As for softies being considered trash. This lovely coral had pretty much been thrown away because the store owner didn’t know what it was or want it.

Yes. Definitely. And it’s lovely.
