What do you think of when you see the name REEF2REEF?

Besides the obvious, "rev is the bomb," and "rev is sexy," what do you think of.:tongue:

Does the name seem generic or do you get the meaning of it?? if so what does it mean?

I have always felt the name ment from my reef to others reef's.
A way of sharing information with fellow reefers.

Oh and it's "RevsGirl" that is sexy

I always thought it meant that this was a forum for reefers across this country and even abroad. Just like the song "This Land" from sea to shining sea that it was a forum for the east , west and southern coasts. Instead of a local forum it was a national one.

I think of R2R as a place where I can go to hang out with reefers from everywhere not just in my local area. Hopefully make a few friends along the way but if not try to gain as much knowledge as I can from people all over....

I'm here in Florida with my fish tank (reef tank) and I can use this site to communicate to someone in Washington about their fish tank (reef tank) and they can communicate to someone in Japan about their fish tank (reef tank)...... Reef to Reef.

The site enables reefers to connect to each other all over the world.....reef to reef.... seems pretty obvious to me.

All jokes aside I feel like all the others that Reef2Reef means from my reef to yours.
