The coral was purchased that way...should we cut that portion off?It appears that there may be other heads that have died on the skeleton or was the coral purchased that way?
We have since moved it but it doesn't appear to be doing better (or worse). suggestions?It may not be getting enough light in that position/location.

Thanx! That makes sense it's definitely in a lower flow area now.No need to cut those parts off...they are just calcium carbonate now :) I was just wondering if you'd lost some heads or if you bought the coral that way. I think it looks okay. I found that my Duncan has shorter, fatter polyps in slower flow and longer, thinner extension in higher flow ares.
