I noticed my tiger conch doing this:

and was wondering what is happening. Is this normal? If not how can I help it? it is keeping my sand bed well stored and basically spotless.

Sand bed and rocks actually look very clean. You sure there is enough food for it in the tank? It might be searching for food.

They're actually good at climbing the glass and rocks if they feel like it, so you're definitely seeing normal behavior. They climb more like mountaineers than snails, which is fun to watch. You can also supplement their diet with sinking algae wafers or put a clip of nori close by if it's looking sparse algae-wise.

That’s a conch doing conch things lol. Mine likes that little spot of algae that keeps coming back

I bought 2 and couldn't find what happened 2 one of them for a couple weeks. so bought another. The next night I saw all 3 hanging out together. Must have found a good algae source under the sand so never needed to come up for a bite. will eventually transfer over to the big tank.
