What is on my Rainbow Yuma coral frag? It’s a new addition to the tank. I had it in a spot I thought it would like but had to move it because my anemone was on the run and I didn’t want it to get stung.
I’m really hoping moving it didn’t harm it.
It almost looks like this giant blob IS the coral.
The picture washes the color out but it’s the best I could do as I was running out the door to work.
Any insight would be amazing!

Sorry but I can’t tell anything from your picture.
Is the Yuma doing any better today?

It looks like a mushroom that’s feeding or trying to capture food. They aren’t always flat

My mushroom when it’s feeding or I have recently fed it, will fold itself in. As vintage stated, this is normal for a mushroom and I wouldn’t be concerned about it. How is it doing today?
