I bought a big anemone and it is stuck to a rock. What is all the stuff growing on the rock and should I worry about adding it to my main tank with whatever is on the rock? Looks like spongy tissue or something in little balls.

yea looks like Ball sponges. for you I hope so.
Did you pest dip the rock Yet? bayer RX peroxide etc
Me Id want the sponges and im pretty sure the sponges are resilient to most of those. but you should pest dip. you paranoia level is up to you. youll have to be gentle with the nem there anyway.

if you keep the sponges make sure you feed em. esp as the first get into the tank.
