This is great advice! We one time thought our nitrates were zero so we added neonitrates to our tank. Come to find out they actually weren’t zero and we shot our nitrates up to 100 because of this.

Always double check an unexpected test result. (If I just remember to retest!)

Don't panic when a problem arises and just start dumping chemicals in!

Don't try over dosing to try and get a quick fix, go by or below manufacture instructions and stretch it out.

Never quit. I’ve “stopped “ 2-3 times in my 15 years reefing. I always comeback and have to buy everything all over. Don’t quit because of any issues. It’s best to overcome and conquer! This hobby takes years to master.
