What is that on my chalice?

Hello all! Is that stringy thing just my Chalice tissue?

Also dont know why its dying too much light too little? Phosphates at .57? Aluminium high on ICP..

Radion g5 is at 25% and its on the side of a rock

Looks like some of its internal organs. I have seen something similar in anemones. That sucks that it’s not doing well. You list a number of possibilities though it’s hard to say any one specific thing is the culprit.
Is this coral a recent addition?
Also, if you could post more info about your system that would help us provide better feedback. You also mention an ICP test, do you have pics of those results?

Its been maybe month and a half.

I think it started dying after placement maybe i take it out of the location

Hmm, phosphates are on the high side but all your other parameters look fine.
Are you using any phosguard, ceramic media, or bio media/bricks in your tank? Sometimes brands have had issues with leaching aluminum.
Also, I notice your sand is black, what sand are you using?

I’d probably start with doing a water change if you haven’t done one recently and at least start to bring the phosphates down. Hopefully some other people can chime in with suggestions.

Why running the lights at only 25%? Have you ever tested that with a par meter? Slowly dying after 1.5 months might be a low lighting issue, parameters don't matter if its not getting enough light.

Renting a par meter tomorrow, some candy cane were not doing well so i thought it was too much light.

I have daily auto water change 2%

Yeah I have a lot of bio media because I was going bare bottom

Can I raise lights to at least 50% or that would shock the corals?
