Duncans!
I’m still sour about my 4 year old one. This guy got wiped out during a Starfish outbreak and so they had to go (the shrimp is still with me and fat 3 months later).

Currently, this guy is a skeleton in my collection of dead corals.

I do like Duncan,

Wish there was more colour choice.
Also they are moody but if water quality is spot on they do shine.

This one has been with me from the start, killed it few times but always came back. Shrimps almost ate him but he managed to outlast them. Tough little guy.

I like Duncans, they grow fast and are wavy, but lack the colors Blastos have.

So how can Duncans be winning?!? :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
With almost 20 reefers weighing in… how can anyone argue? ;) I’ve never seen a $900 Duncan lol

Where are you getting your blastos from!?! The most I've seen is a $500 one that had almost 30 heads
never bought it but ill get you the link… need to find it again, definitely an outlier. But I have purchased a single wwc rainbow blasto for $300 and haven’t seen a Duncan at that price.

True. I always get my coral wild caught so they don't have any names/designer variants, just "red" and "blue" blastos. They do sometimes have expensive duncan colonies but they have 30+ heads

Not the one I was thinking of but the top pic here sold for 1k. Curious how it would be described from the wild.

Here is the one for sale that I was thinking of… it’s a stunner
