It could be an animal that is either difficult to find/not often sold or hitchhiked on live rock.

I’ve seen these before but I know they are more used in freshwater tanks or custom builds.I run a reverse under gravel filtration system. Only a handful of them still being used as far as I know.
Yet here I am 5 years later with a beautiful, low maintenance tank.I’ve seen these before but I know they are more used in freshwater tanks or custom builds.
Do you have any pictures of that in action? I haven't seen one used on saltwater before.Yet here I am 5 years later with a beautiful, low maintenance tank.
That's crazy, but honestly I never used one in fresh water either, so im not familiar with them or the idea, but when I was first getting into saltwater way back when i was a bright eyed child lol, I would go look at my neighbors tank, he was a mechanical engineer and he had a undergravel filter type set up, but it was a drain at the bottom of his tank he would open up and do waterchanges, I didn't know what I was looking at or what was going on but it was something along those lines. I remember seeing all the fish poop flow out of the bottom then he would put water back in it, I was to young to understand, I wish i could see it today.. but also I don't like holes in the bottom of tanks so idk
My new thank has one also, best thing I did in a long time.I run a reverse under gravel filtration system. Only a handful of them still being used as far as I know.
This is for animals, I can't add to the list....It could be an animal that is either difficult to find/not often sold or hitchhiked on live rock.
