So I have a 10 gallon tank that currently has 1 fish and a cleanup crew, I plan on adding some coral and another fish or two. But, I don’t know if my pump is the right size. I bought a 256 gph circulation pump that runs 2.5 watt. And my filter is meant for up to a 35 gallon tank. I don’t know i my current one is good, if I could just use the filter, or if I should buy a new circulation pump. Advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

You want 20-40 times your tanks volume. You currently have 386GPH so thats almost 39 times your tank volume. So its on the high side but good for SPS corals.
