Hello. I have this algae growing in my dt that glows bright red under blue light. Unfortunately i cant show this because my phone camera doesnt show colors in blue light, but photos in whiter-light are attached.
I would like to get rid of it as it is growing all over my sand but i dont know what it is or how to treat it.

i did have dinos confirmed by microscope, and probably still have a little left, but those were brown and did not glow like this. What is now growing in my tank looks much more red than brown, and it doesnt make bubbles like the dinos did. One thing that is similar is that it seems to thin out at night and then come back over the day.

to treat the dinos i was told to not change water if possible, and to overfeed to raise nutrients so other things could grow and compete with the dinos. Both of which i have been doing.
my parameters are:
320 calcium
10 alk
1.025 sg
79 degrees
10 nitrate
0.2 phosphate

if anybody knows what this is and how to treat it i would be very thankful.

Yep! Definitely Cyano! Do you have enough flow in that tank? That stuff can be a bear to get rid of.

Siphon out as much as you can. Try coral snow. There is a recipe somewhere on here for how to make it. Have you tested your parameters? If so, post here what they are and maybe folks here can help more. But good flow is a big help with cyano not being able to get a hold anywhere. Sometimes you just have to play around with power head’s direction in order to achieve the proper flow in all areas.
