Can you get some pics of it under white light? Blue light washes out a ton of details and makes ID really difficult.

I’ve only seen it open under blue light. Here are a few more and I’ll try to get one in white with it open.

The second pic here seems to show a feather duster worm tube, so I would say to look up some pics of feather duster worms and see if that looks like a general match (feather dusters are harmless filter-feeders, but there are a ton of different species, so some may look like your critter while others don't; they all have the feathery looking crown though).
