New to the coral game....
A new LFS that I recently found is just now starting to stock corals (1st shipment this weekend)
They had this colony of zoas that they told me was fire and ice. (It did look better under their lights)
The price they gave me was good and I had a gift certificate, so I took it home.
My quandary is there are other items on the rock, and I don't know what they are. There are arrows to them in the picture below:

Easier to see when the zoas are closed:

I was fearful....Any recommendations on removal methods? I have seen a bunch of different methods with injection, electrocution, etc.

Dang it, I don't know how to frag. Can I just yank it out with some tweezers?
I don't know how closely related it is to aiptasia but aiptasia release spore to make more buds when they are messed with.

Go get a needle and syringe from somewhere like Walgreens or CVS and inject the majano in the mouth or stem with a small amount (0.5 ml) distilled white vinegar. It might take 2 injections to kill it, but it will die.
