Can you provide a close up picture under white lights, please? It will aid in identifying this for you.
It's also hard to take a picture of it when the frogspawn tentacles are always in the way. So I have to wait for the right moment to take a picture of it.It's a bit blurry for me to make out. Let's call in the big guns. @ReefSquad
Sponge. You could take it out and peel them off but should not cause a problem. If they grow out of control and interfere with the polyp then they may irritate it but that is a low possibility.![]()
I hope this picture is better. Took it last night after the lights went out. If it is sponges, are they good or bad? How would I get rid of them if they are a problem?
Can I siphon it out during a water change or pick it out by hand like hair algae?Sponge. You could take it out and peel them off but should not cause a problem. If they grow out of control and interfere with the polyp then they may irritate it but that is a low possibility.
Fingers (always wear gloves) or forceps, but they are harmless. If they grow out of control, consider "pruning".Can I siphon it out during a water change or pick it out by hand like hair algae?
