Does any one know what this is growing on my sps? They look like limpets but it’s actually part of the coral structure. Any ideas??

The first photos are from the underside of that coral. Coral is very much alive.
Ahh ok, that makes sense to me now.. If you see any antenna protruding from those burrows (or a spider-like thread hanging out) that might be coral boring spinobid worms.. but I doubt that, those burrows would be much wider..

Have you tried to put it under flow to see if anything falls off of it?

Also look at this area under a magnifying glass/microscope/zoomed camera, could be eggs.
