Hello and thank you for taking your time to read through this.

I am new to this website, and also new to being a saltwater aquarium owner. I have worked with freshwater fish for years and decided it was time for a change. Everything has been going perfectly so far, besides the possible death of my fire shrimp.

Just the other day, my wrasse went into a hole in my live rock, and I saw something else moving around near it.

Honestly, I have no idea what this is. At first I thought it could quite possibly be my fire shrimp, whom I thought died months ago, but then I took a closer look and I don't know if it is anymore.

How big would you say this is? It's kind of hard to tell, but it might be a hermit crab of some sort.
I would guess around 2-3 inches, from what I can see, but I really don't know.
