Is there any way to move this fungia? It's close to my bta so I'm not sure it's completely same for them to be so close.

i believe once it is mature it can be moved, as a juvenile it is attached... if its still attached id just move the rock if thats possible, if not then just wait it out unless the BTA is actively stinging it, it looks pretty happy where it is in your pics. mine is about 3 inches wide and ive had it for probably a close to a year and its mature and i move it easily when i clean my tank. i was told they like the sandy bottom but mine seems to prefer the racks or up off the bottom because my hermits/conchs bother it constantly on the bottom

I tried moving it off the rock yesterday when I first noticed it had a hard body. Needless to say, the whole rock moved. Lol. This guy is firmly attached. I was reading that they like sand so that might be an option if he ever dislodges.

yes the sand is always an option, my CUC seems to bother mine too much though... i actually happened to move mine today and i took it off the rack ( because i need to clean it) and put it on a newly cycled rock to make sure he didnt get harassed by CUC and/or burried by my pistol shrimp
