Hi,

4 months into our reef tank.
Absolutely love it.
I'm wondering what these green bubbles on the coral?
Is that new growth?
I'm not sure what the name of the coral is.

Thanks

I can't see the picture for some reason but look up bubble algae and see if that's it. If it is hopefully u can pull the rock out and scrub it off. Try not to pop them underwater or the spores will spread.

Green stuff is bubble algae and will choke out the coral. Do as suggested above. As for the coral, from the picture it doesn't look in good shape. Could just be the picture though.

Bad picture.
The coral is in nice condition less the "Bubble Algae" I picked off the algae with tweezers , rinsed several times and placed the coral back into the tank

Thanks for your help
