What is wrong with this coral?

Looks like it has a chunk out of it near the bottom. I edited the photo so its easier to see.

It's an extremely low resolution picture but it could be an area AEFW have cleared out. It kind of looks like there might be egg patches on the dead spots.
 
could just be general stn too.. i sometimes get that on frags that are stressed. stable conditions turn it around

but then i noticed what could be a bite mark near the top...looking more like the aefw
 
Is that area getting light. Sometimes the tissue die at the sea were there is not enough light
 
It does look like AEFW as well as some questionable areas of laid eggs. Can you post a better photo?
