About a year after I setup my 180 with new rock, I noticed a small ( about 3" long ) black slug type critter. After doing some research I realized it was a black bumpy sea cucumber.
That was about 12 years ago and has been in my 240 now for more than 5 years.
It's about 18" long now and my grandkids favorite animal in my tank.

I don't think it's ugly at all! I have one somewhere. It wasn't a hitchiker though, a friend gave me one he had hitchhike. I think he had 3 or 4 show up in his tank. I haven't seen mine in a long time.
