Fish are cooler than corals.
Now that there is a FOWLR forum I can speak the truth
I've had many reef tanks over the years and converted one of my tanks just recently back to FOWLR. I do appreciate the beauty in a reef but limits my fish choices. I'll keep enjoying your reefs instead.
I own pitbulls and they haven't killed anyone..... yet.....don't believe the hype!.....also have a model citizen clown trigger in a mixed reef!I don't understand why there is such a distinction between reef and FOWLR tank. There are many corals can be kept with many of the non reef-safe fish. The actual viable choices depends on the particular fish. But how's that different from choosing other fish that compatible with the focus fish, or choosing coral that works with the focus corals? Why does keeping a porcupine puffer and humu trigger means one can't try any coral in the tank?
