Got it as a joker torch. Don't really care what it is. Got a good deal on it. But would like to know if anyone knows.

Purple with blue tip is the actual color under whites. My lights are ramping up in this pic. I got it on a 30% off sale along with some other nice pieces. Look at rarereef.com . I purchased from them first then looked at 2 bad reviews on this site. But I've ordered 3 times. And everything is really nice and communication was great. It has been all WYSIWYG as advertised.

I saw your other post as was wondering what a joker torch was. I have that same one. It occasionally has a purple hue, with heavy actinic, but mostly I consider it a brown, under normal lights, with white tips. Will say of all torches i own or have owned it is by far easiest, fasted grower and most perimeter forgiving euphyllia.

I've got a rainbow and hurricane torch coming next week. I really don't bother with the names so much. I figure if I'm happy with it. That's really all that matters. Only time its good to know is when I'm trading or trying to sell. Which won't be for a while.

post pics when you get the other ones I love the crazy names people give them and am curious what they look like I have about 20 torches there my favorite coral

I can show you the pic of the ones I've got coming in. I know they are made up names. Just wondering if anyone knows the actual name of them.

I've got a green purple tip frogspawn and the one I posted. My tank is only 40g so I'm going to let what I have grow. I've got a ricordea garden to design , 5 different mushrooms, 2 lobos, jf jack o later lepto, 2 mini max carpet nems, 4 rock flower nems. Tons of zoas. And a birds nest.

Torches usually just have a color form. Some are unique color form like aussie gold. I can never keep that one alive for more than a few months. I have a lemon lime or some call seven up, which is a unique color form. Other than that a name is usually just the color. Or just with that seller.

I have seem both of them in several LFS. They are indo torches. As you said each will give it a different name.
