What light to use?

Hello all.

I currently am cycling a JBJ 28G nanocube and was looking for some opinions. I am currently using the LED hood light that came with it, but I have a Kessil Tuna Blue and was wondering which one you guys recommend to use? One one hand the hood also provides a lid and a strong reliable light, but the Kessil is more customizable.

My opinion would be the kessil is going to be a better light than the one found in the AIO tanks, but it depends on the light and what you are trying to do.

I would like to start a reef tank, sorry forgot to mention that in the original post.

Usually the built in hood LEDs work pretty good for softies, my advice would be to start slow, add some softies, see how it goes and when you are ready for SPS and LPS you'll have your light.
