I have a 100 gallon 60"x17" custom tank so is hard to find a light (led strip) that fits the top. I don't want to hang them. I also don't know what lighting I need. I like the hard/stony corals. Doing my homework on this has been overwhelming

Thanks! I wanted to keep it below 500. Does that one allow you to have which ever corals?

Hi At $500 a 60in tank is tough so far ESP for flat strips or if you dont have or build canopy's.
two Current orbit pros can get pretty good amount of quality light. But if your still beginning you will likely not be doing the high light finicky stoney corals anyway.
they only come in 48 so youll have fall off at the ends.

If you DIY and want the super cheap look at the mars aqua 300 w, bright enough to be dangerious and 2 will cover the whole tank esp if you pull the lenses.
On solution. for not hanging

if you diy its easy.

next step is the reefbreeders led line line and buildmyled.com also SBreeflights. I personally have been looking at the SBreeflight series.

All of those are quality manufacturers and are here on the forum and you can call or email them with questions recommendations and prices.

Thanks so much! I got a quote from my local fish store and it was about $1,100 so that is probably the norm I guess. I am not experienced with this at all but I really like the corals so I want to take the leap lol.
