I recently setup a Fiji Cube 32 AIO and trying to decide on what lighting setup. The tank measures 24” wide, 20 depth, and 16” tall.

I got a PopBloom RL90 but thinking of doing something different because it seems very “blue” and I don’t love how it sags down (not a huge deal but it bothers me).

I’m thinking of a Red Sea Reefled 90 or two AI Prime 16HD’s.

My plan is to start with an mostly have soft and LPS corals but I don’t want to be limited in the future.

Thank you for any advice.

It really depends on what the corals you are going to keep are used to and want. As far as the blue on the RL90, it is programable with multiple channels.
Thanks. I plan on starting soft and LPS but don’t want to have to entirely upgrade in the future. That’s why I was thinking 2 AI primes. Starting with 1 and the. Adding a second when/if I get into SPS.

I can adjust the parameters to make it less blue but all the preset settings are pretty blue. If I make it more “white” doesn’t that create more potential algae issues??

2 16hds on my old 18 nano cube and 2 on my old 30.
First 4 channels 100% the rest 50%. These settings will grow anything.
My old 30 and 20

I could be biased since I Just bought one, but I 2nd ReefBreeders if they are within your budget.
Those look good but brand new is out of budget. If a used one pops up I’d be open to it.

With the PopBloom, these are the settings that don’t look too blue but was afraid this was too much white and would cause algae. I’m new to all this so still learning:

I've got a 100 watt nicrew on my 32 gallon, it would be about the same wattage as 2 primes but half the price. I run my 100 watt nicrew at 75% blues and 50% whites

There's a whole lot more to nuisance algae problems than just the light spectrum. If yuo don't like the amount of "blue" but are concerned about increasing the "white" levels that concern will apply to all fixtures with "white" and "blue" channels for controlling the intensity of those spectrums.
