The polyps are leaving the heads what can i do to make this stop happening? Thanks
Have you or do you have the means to test your tanks parameters? Need a bit more info, it could be getting picked on but i would lean towards something being off parameter or nutrient wise. Best of luck :)

Agreed on the calcium being low, also your alk is pretty low as well. What brand of salt are you using? I would also buy a phosphate test kit if you can. Salifert is pretty decent at a fair price. Are you dosing anything or doing water changes?

I am using the redsea black bucket but i need to get more dosing fluid. Need to buy a load of it. You think if the calcium is raised to normal it will stop?

Btw, this is assuming all other parameters are in check such as salinity, temperature, ph, etc :)

Is that the pro? I think that alk is supposed to be closer to like 11 or so. I think its most likely a few things upsetting the coral not just calcium but thats definitely one of them. Lets see what some of the others say as well but if you could post the other parameters, such as salinity, temp, tank size, age of tank, what you dose if possible. That will help us to better figure out whats going on. Do you do regular water changes on the tank?

I would bet your magnesium is low as well. Torches thrive with higher magnesium, I try to keep mine above 1400. You need to get Alk, mag and calcium up. Alk you will want to bring up slowly so no large swings.

The parameters seem way off and you don’t seem sure of the parameters. I suggest to get some good test kits and get your parameters in line and keep them stable.
