What size return pump are you using for your Lifereef skimmer? I have the nano version.

I wanted to get a Sicce one and not a mag-drive that Jeff provides because I know they can be loud. Jeff is recommending a pump around 900 GPH for the nano skimmer and that seems like overkill especially since my aquarium pump is only 900 GPH. So how many GPH is your skimmer pump from Lifereef and what brand are you using?

I am not sure what Jeff's nano skimmer is. What is the model #? I have a SVS2-24 with a Mag 9.5 on it.

You want as big a pump as possible with Venturi driven skimmers. I ran a Jebao 8000 on the 24” with good results

I have a Sicce Syncra Silent 5.0 on a Bashsea. This pump is pretty loud. The IM Mighty Jet XL runs the tank and I only know its on by seeing the flow.

Yes. I know. Do not know what model he considers a Nano skimmer.
Oh, sorry about that. Any VS-24 model is considered nano....and up to 250 gallons....crazy range! The other letters and numbers around VS-24 have to do with the various fittings and options.
