Hi, so woke up today to see that my purple tang has white spots (assuming it’s inch) and now my blue rang also has a couple. My idea was to move my two clownfish from my main tank into a separate 15g and move the blue tang into another 15g treat the purple tang in dt. And also treat the other two tanks to be safe. Anyone have any better options/opinions on what I should do
My tank has
1purple tang
1blue tang
2 clownfish
In a 100g tank

Are you able to post pics under white lighting?
If I have, will look like salt grains whereas velvet will looks like the solar system all over their body
Treatment if choice- COPPERSAFE.
apply according to package and monitor copper levels with a reliable copper test kit- not API brand either.
You want to get to 2.25ppm copper level

Perfect. Does appear to be ich. Again treat in QT with coppersafe (best bet) and assure you are monitoring dosage level (2.25ppm) using a reliable Copper test kit
Add aeration during treatment

Awesome thanks, do you recommend quarantining them for 70days until the ich has went through it’s cycle? And CUC in main tank should also be taken out or left in tank?

45 days should be sufficient. Run Temp at 78-79 deg
