I am planning on purchasing a prostar rimless 150 gallon setup and was wondering if anyone knows what size tubing is need for the return pump?

Depends on the return pump and overflow. Doesn’t it come complete?
 
The only info given is that it requires up to 450gph
 
450 Sounds low to me, but I would use 1" & reduce @ the last fitting.
