Ok so more flow to my acros and more water changes? I've been doing weekly 5 gals and trying to keep my skimmer clean this is only a 32 gal
I mean i cant be certain but i have better luck from blasting my acros than from giving them less flow

No it isnt overun, its just algae on rocks and glass can suck up free phosphate and nitrate before you have a chance to test for it in water making you think you have less nutrients than you really do

doesnt look like its bleached as much as the coral has lost all tissue and is fully dead, yeah flow can kill acros very fast
Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep that in mind, I added some and there's a couple not getting as much flow as I would like. Time to adjust some pumps.

Also you may have an easier time dealing with flow if you switch the trachy and hammer corals with the acros in the front right of the picture

True, I'm gonna move my magnet pump to the bottom right corner and slowly turn it up. Also keep adding media and water changes.

sounds like a good plan, take it slow and good luck

Np, just a bit confused for a sec
Same lol didnt understand at first. I would my the trachy but I'd have to think long and hard about that it's been there for quite a long time. I can move the hammers with the other hammers I've had those corals for 3 years almost lol. I think I'm gonna try moving the pumps around a bit before I move some of the lps

The other issue I'd the 2 acros with new glue are the ones I picked up with the Millie but the red dragon monti and leptasia have encrusted themselves so I would hate to move them

Little cloudy cause I just added new pumps but I've got 2 new pumps that can turn more directions. I've got one pointed directly over the acros and it's pretty strong flow but I think it's just what they need. Then the variable pump is pointed straight across the back where the dead millie is and pulsing. I've got one more on the top left pointed down at the duncan. I think this is a good start so I'm gonna keep adjusting until everyone seems happy but for now I'm gonna let it sit and see who's not extending polyps. I'm gonna try to move as little coral as possible but the monti and bird nest might have to move to the left side of the tank and the hammer to where they are. Also picked up some more gfo too.
