What's all this salt doing in my tank?

Hey everyone,

New to the hobby, well kind of.

Been doing freshwater and planted tanks for decades, and finally got convinced to start a 40 gallon reef tank. I have to say, I think I'm hooked already.

This seems like a great site, with a lot of knowledge and supportive hobbyists.

I look forward to getting to know some of you.

Thanks friend,

I do have a post in fish disease If you're familiar with clownfish diseases.

Other than that, the main thing I need right now is a stick that automatically smacks my hand every time I reach for the calcium and alkalinity additives. Lol

I've been lucky so far.
