What's cooking tonight?

Another hot and humid weekend here, hot enough that the idea of cooking in the house was not appealing... so I picked myself up a small grill to use on my balcony and grilling up something good.

I am in Howell between Novi and Lansing on 96. What area of Macomb are you in? Lived in Mt Clemens until part way through middle school before moving.

It sure does. I need to get a charcoal grill. I have a gas grill but I can't get a good sear on my steaks.

Can't have a gas grill due to city ordinance for multi family dwellings, I guess one of the apartment complexes had a fire which spread and a gas grill that was on a balcony caught fire. Caused some major damage from what I was told. Definitly being very cautious using it out on my balcony had plenty of water on hand right next to me just in case.

Im at 21 and North Avenue...i felt i lived in downtown Mt Clemens through my early 20's :D

We use to live on Smith street right across from the highschool track. Loved watching the firework display they use to do we use to walk downtown to go and watch them. Haven't been back to the area since we moved, I am sure a lot has changed from what I remember.

Nice looking bobs! I am a chef, so I cooked all day and don't even want to think about it now. However, since I have to work al day tommorow I am going to make myself a great meal for father's day. Blackened center cut NY striploin with angelhair scampi and garlic parmesan foccacia. I'm running that as a special all week for the other dads to enjoy, only I get it free and they pay $24. ;)
