I've had this tank up since 2016 with the same fish in it. Just came out of a 5 day power outage, my generator isn't able to handle the lights so they stayed off the whole time. Ever since the power came back on all the fish have been attacking the one wrasse (I have 2) and the other wrasse kinda looks pregnant.

Could 2 wrasse species mate? Ones a McCosker's wrasse and the other is in the picture looking pregnant.

Hello,

I am not sure what it could be but we have a wrasse expert @evolved that may be able to help.

Not possible - and besides - that's a male melanurus in the photo.
looking pregnant.
One of two things is going on here: either a bowel obstruction, or the fish pigged out in the low-light situation on the pods that typically hide in the bright lights.
I'll wager on the latter, but you'll have to monitor for a few days and see how things go.

Thank you! I'll keep an eye on him (good to know hes a male :-) )

I too thought with lights out which pods favor, it had a feast
