Steve - sad to see that 90g go down, but for good reason!

I'm in the same predicament. That is why I haven't pulled the trigger on the new tank. I want something manageable, nice, but not too big so it will last for a while. Especially with a girl on the way now, and another right after we hope.

I couldn't do 3 tanks if I wanted to. WAY to much time just with the one!

Good call on the downsizing. Having fun with the kids is wayyy more important.

as beautiful as all your corals are and your 90g, I need to congratulate you and give you thanks that there is some hope. As weird as it sounds, we see a lot of people in the news who put themselves before their children. We all know that the 40g tank will be the best of its kind and when you are able to get another large tank it will be all the best.

Agreed! I feel overwhelmed by having an ELOS Mini running while cycling my 183 gal :cry:, let alone running multiple tanks at a time!

The kids will thank you if not now then later. Kids are only kids once and tanks can always be put back up later. You have made a very smart and unselfish move.

Thank you all for the support.. This was not easy for me to shutdown the 90g. I created something beautiful ( as for me lol ) ..Kids are my 1st priority .. I choose my kids over my work and that is why I am unemployed :(... Thank you all ..
